I searched for a simple chess game for my eReader — but all I found were people searching, not playing. So I built my own. That’s how PaperGames was born, and I’m happy to share it with everyone. It has since grown into a small collection of E-Ink-friendly board games, with more planned.

PaperGames's online chess feature runs on lichess.org's public API. PaperGames is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by Lichess.
